
The third the International Wine Women Awards were launched in Paris. This international event celebrating the outstanding contribution of women to the wine industry will take place in Paris, May 11th 2009.
If you share our passion for wine, whether you are a wine professional or a wine amateur, working in the wine industry or wishing to enter the profession, you can enter the Wine Women Awards international competition and join us in Paris in May to attend the event.
The Wine Women Awards is open to all women who have a serious interest in wine: viticulture, wine science, wine marketing, wine and food, communication, tourism… or wine tasting!

A selection of 10 finalists as well as the program of the competition will be announced on March 30th.

Alma Henning, a travelling winemaker and graduate BSc Agric (Wingerd & Wyn) Univ of Stellenbosch, is presently doing her Masters research in Europe with a scholarship of the EU.
