I work in a retail wine store in Nashville Tennessee. I have a customer by the name of Douglas Green who is a quite well known entertainer. He is the lead singer (Ranger Doug) in a band by the name of Riders in the Sky. They do a lot of work on Public Radio and have had television programs. They were also featured in the Disney movie “Toy Story”. For obvious reasons Douglas would like to have some of your wine. Is it available in middle Tennessee, and if not how can we get you to be available in the Nashville market.
Ranger Doug got the wine and loves it.
Hi Amos,
FYI, we have a new Douglas Green wine coming to America real soon. It’s a Chenin Blanc called Steen. Unoaked and a real pretty wine. Perfect for summer sipping.
Douglas is always welcome in our house, and so would I immagine in the USA. I drank a lovely Californian wine when I visited. Cambria , I think ,it was called. I am not a snob(b)ish wine drinker. I go by taste. I never spit out when I taste. . . to my husband’s horror! DG is tops. Red or white.
hai guys how can i get in touct with you
Do you do sponsorships? We are looking for a sponsorship for at event at an high class restaurant in Pretoria East on new years eve.
I hope that you can help me with some information on the Douglas Green family. My Grandfather had an aunt, possibly a sister of Douglas Green senior, who founded the winery. His aunt was called Johanna Sibella. She was known as Aunt Hannah and she lived in Alphen House. My Aunt Joy (Johanna) spent time with her Aunt. Aunt Hannah was very wealthy and entertained a lot. She also owned the first Rolls Royce in Cape Town. My late brother, Dale visited Douglas Green Junior, and told me that Mrs Green collected silver. I would like to contact any member of the Green family. Can you please assist me in doing so.
Many thanks,
Joan Bailie.
